LED Indications
When walk testing or in the event of an alarm activation, the TMD's quad LED indication provides information on the state of all technologies and detectors.
Push Connectors
Rather than having to use a screwdriver on the terminal blocks, simply use the push connectors which will firmly hold the wires in place. Again, minimising installation time and enabling you to make savings.
Selectable EOL (End of Line) Resistors
Cut time and cost by the simple selection of end of line resistor values for the alarm, tamper & fault / mask outputs on the TMD 15™ PCB. Advantage can be taken of the new feature on the PCX® Grade 3 panels whereby alarm, fault / mask and tamper can be signaled on one zone.
Foam Gasket Sealed Optics
Reduce False alarm activations with sealed optics on the TMD 15™. The area between the sensing element and lens is sealed, stopping air flow and insect infestations in the optics.
Wiring Zones - Fault Mask and Tamper to One Zone
The standard method of wiring a detector involves wiring the alarm, the mask / fault and the tamper outputs to 2 different zones with 6 connections and resistors.
No longer is this the case with the TMD 15™. With a supported panel, such as the Pyronix PCX® 50 Grade 3, alarm, mask / fault and tamper are all wired to a single zone with ease and simplicity.
