Javascript Developer

We are looking for an ambitious individual who can take on the role of a Javascript Developer to support existing mobile and web applications. It will be your responsibility to develop state of the art responsive mobile and web applications for real time IoT.

As part of the R&D team, you will be exposed to the latest technology stack and will need to constantly keep your skills up to date. You will apply best practice approaches to contribute to the ongoing improvement of coding practices and process.

Knowledge and Experience Required

Essential:

• Minimum of 2-3 years commercial experience in designing websites
• Strong Node.js/npm
• Strong Javascript, HTML5/CSS3
• Experience in web services using mark-up languages like JSON and REST
• Front End Web application development experience using Javascript and its wider frameworks; AngularJS
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Design Patterns with MVC Framework experience
• Knowledge of build tools (Gulp, Grunt)
• Experience with databases (MySQL, DynamoDb, NoSQL)
• Websockets, TCP, UDP
• OAuth, OpenId, Cogito

Desirable

• AWS
• Experience using GIT or other version control systems
• Contribution to Open Source projects
• Experience working in an agile environment
