Main purpose of the job

Working with the marketing team to create content for a variety of use cases (social media, press releases, product copy etc) which contribute to the success of the overall marketing strategy and communications plans for both product launches and ongoing marketing activities. Supporting the sales of products in the UK&I through execution of a wide range of marketing activities.

 

PRINICIAL ACCOUNTATBILITIES

  • Content creation for use in social media, newsletters and website inclusion
  • Producing engaging written content, including; articles, blog posts, whitepapers, datasheets, key features and other marketing project content
  • Working alongside the Communications Manager for planning, producing and implementing marketing activities, in line with the agreed communications plan.
  • Coordination of other projects or related marketing activities to achieve business objectives
  • Driving the growth of the business through sales and marketing alignment of strategy with operational activities, delivering consistent marketing messaging aligned with the identity of the organisation.
  • Contributing positively to the success of marketing projects
  • Bringing new ideas and creativity to Pyronix marketing activities

 

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED

Essential

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant field or Professional Marketing Qualification (for example CIM)
  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Team Player
  • Able to confidently put forward new ideas and build upon colleagues’ ideas
  • Deadline driven and able to prioritise work well
  • Assertive
  • Experience in working within marketing teams and running operational marketing activities and campaigns
  • Get it right first-time approach

Desirable

  • Project management skills
  • Security industry experience
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of design programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
