Web Developer

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Develop state of the art responsive mobile and web applications for real time IoT.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Support existing mobile and web applications

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED

Minimum 2-3 years’ commercial experience in designing websites.

Essential Skills

• Experience of developing and writing client and server side web applications
• Strong Node.js/npm, HTML, CSS
• Experience working within a SAAS environment utilising AWS and associated applications
• Knowledge of implementing, updating and maintaining REST APIs along with management of documentation
• Front End Web application development experience using Javascript and its wider frameworks; AngularJS
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Design Patterns with MVC Frameworks
• Knowledge of build tools (Git, Gulp, Grunt, Docker)
• Experience with databases (MySQL, DynamoDb, NoSQL)
• Development experience working with Websockets, TCP, UDP,OAuth, OpenId, Cognito, PHP, CSS

Desirable

• Working knowledge of Jira applications
• Knowledge of .Net
• Contribution to Open Source projects
• Experience working in a flexible and adaptable agile environment
