Changing Icon & Text Size

Icons and text too big or too small? ProControl+ can now be modified to suit the preference of the user, with small, medium or large options.

1. Open ProControl+.
2. Select control panel.
3. Log in to system using code and password.
4. Tap the cog symbol in the top right corner.
5. Select 'Icon Size' and then choose between small, medium and large.
6. Tap the arrow in the top left corner to return to system.

Expanding Area Details

Whether the user requires a simple top-level view of the system, or a detailed view of detector status, the control panel navigation has been redesigned to quickly switch between the two.

1. Open ProControl+.
2. Select control panel.
3. Log in to system using code and password.
4. Tap the arrow next to the area to view details.
5. Tap arrow again to hide details.

Biometric Authorisation

In order to increase security, whilst maintaining convenience, ProControl+ has been enhanced with facial and fingerprint recognition*. This extra step when opening the application secures cameras, and creates two-step verification for control panels.

*Smart device must have inbuilt biometric recognition features.

1. Open ProControl+.
2. From the homescreen, select the 'More' tab.
3. Select 'Account Management'.
4. Turn 'facial or fingerprint recognition 'on' by tapping the slider.

The next time the application is opened, biometric data will be required.

More Notifications, Better Informed

Voice notifications have been enhanced with a larger library of sounds; enabling ProControl+ to be more detailed when alerting the user to alarms, events and arm status of the system.

Selectable Voice Notifications

Through PyronixCloud, voice and push notifications can now be tailored to the user’s preference or needs; selecting the specific alerts they wish to receive.

1. Go to www.pyronixcloud.com
2. Enter account email address and password.
3. Select the user whose notifications are to be edited by clicking either 'enabled' or 'disabled' under the notifications section of that user.
4. Select 'Advanced' to view the available options in that section.
   

Switcher; Specialised Notifications

A switcher input can be used to trigger a voice notification to the user, but how is this useful?

With upgrades to ProControl+ and PyronixCloud, a switcher can used to communicate events to the user, depending on how the input has been programmed – click the image below to view a tutorial video on programming advanced switchers in our Pyronix training section.

Once the input has been programmed for an action, the voice notification needs activating on the PyronixCloud. For switcher notifications activate number 80, ‘Log Switcher Opened’, which can be found in the ‘Alarm’ section of notifications. When the switcher is next triggered, the appropriate voice notification will be audible on the user’s smart device.
