Tamper | 防拆

A state where the panel is indicating a certain part of its system or a component is in distress.

Tamper Protection | 防篡改

This ensures that maximum security is maintained against accidental or malicious tampering of the system, providing that added peace of mind that the system is secure.

Technical Damage | 技术损坏

For example, damage caused by water, escaping gases etc. (protection through special danger warning system).

Telephone Dialler | 电话拨号器

Device with which the alarm messages from a panel are sent via telephone line. Telephone diallers can be integrated into alarm systems already or be added as additional components.

Telephone Line Monitor | 电话线路监视器

A sensor that monitors one or more conditions of a telephone circuit to detect when if it has become incapable of reporting alarm-detected problems to the monitoring facility or to an end user.

Terminal | 端子

The mechanical device by means of which an electric connection to an apparatus is established.

Test Access Point (TAP) Server | 测试接入点服务器

A network tap is an external monitoring device that mirrors the traffic that passes between two network nodes. A TAP is a hardware device inserted at a specific point in the network to monitor data. In order for a panel using a PSTN modem to send SMS to a user's mobile device, it has to send the data to a TAP server which decodes the data and sends the SMS to the user.

Threshold | 阀值

The upper and lower thresholds are the amount of the infrared energy needed in order to trigger the detector.

Tie Wrap | 电缆扎匝

Plastic, metal or nylon strapping used for binding or bundling cables together or holding them in place. Several styles of tie-wraps are available; cinching, hole-mounted, adhesive closure etc.

Transducer | 传感器

A transducer is a device that converts energy from one form to another. In security systems, this typically refers to devices that alert audibly or visually when the alarm is triggered.

Transformer | 变压器

An electrical component that converts input voltage and current to a different output voltage and current.

Transistor | 三极管

A semiconductor device that amplifies, oscillates, or switches the flow of current between two terminals by varying the current or voltage between one of the terminals and a third.

Triple End of Line Wiring (3EOL) | 三线尾电阻接线

A method of wiring inputs into the control panel. The wiring circuit would incorporate three EOL resistors so that the control panel can distinguish between tamper, normal, alarm and masked states.

Tri-Signal Detection Logic | 三重信号探测逻辑

This detection logic enhances the external detector as all three (two independent PIR’s and one microwave) have to be activated within a specified time period for the detector and in turn the system to go into alarm. This enhanced digital logic technology keeps the detector stable whilst not compromising on detection.

Trouble | 故障

A non-emergency condition indicating that the alarm system is inoperative or functioning at less than optimum capability. Trouble conditions may include sensors that have become less sensitive or more susceptible to causing false alarms, or batteries that have deteriorated or are inoperative.

True Quad Sensor | 四元传感器

A pyro-electric sensor that has 4 elements (2 positive and 2 negative). This increases the stability of the detector.

Two-Stage Detection Process | 双阶段探测过程

The detector only focuses on two frequencies; first it picks up the high frequency ‘shatter’ of the glass and then the low frequency ‘flex’ of the glass to confirm a break has occurred.

Two-Way Voice | 双向通话

A technology for allowing a central station operator to hear what transpires after an alarm is activated and to talk to person on the scene.

Two-Way Wireless | 双向无线

Pyronix two-way wireless technology offers a highly secure and reliable wireless system, using 128-bit wireless protocol encryption and advanced jamming detection. Each wireless device on the Enforcer is both a transmitter and a receiver.
