Ultra Violet (UV) Balancing | 紫外线（UV）平衡
UV light is always present and is particularly strong at high altitude and next to the seaside. The exposure to such high radiation reduces performance and can blind the PIR lenses. In order to combat this, the detectors have a UV filter.
Ultra Violet (UV) Filter | 紫外线过滤器
Detector lenses are manufactured to high standards and coated with a heavy duty ultra violet filter to ensure their performance is not compromised by high levels of UV.
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) | 不间断电源
A backup power unit that provides continuous power when the normal power supply is interrupted. UPS systems can be stand-by, only supplying power when the regular supply is interrupted, or fulltime, relying on regular power and/or batteries to supply it while it supplies power to the protected device.
Unset | 撤防
The act of turning your security system off, so that the control panel will no longer alarm when sensors are triggered.
User | 用户
This refers to the operators of the alarm system (e.g. owners, subtenants). They can be assigned separate rights and user codes to restrict access to certain parts of the building for example.

Electronic guided support for operating alarm panel, whether this be by a touch screen keypad or a smart device application.
