Surface Mount Technology Operator

Based in our Manufacturing Centre in Hellaby nr Rotherham

Pyronix is a world-leading manufacturer of electronic security equipment for use in residential, commercial and industrial applications in the intruder alarm market. We design a wide range of multi-award-winning wired and wireless intruder alarm solutions, utilising market-leading technologies developed exclusively by our in-house R&D team.

You will be working as part of a highly skilled and effective team to ensure that all SMT machinery and equipment is operated, maintained and kept running in an effective and efficient manner to produce quality products.

Key features of the job include

• Delivering the production plan and be able to explain any deviations from targets.
• To efficiently set-up, operate and change over the SMT line as per relevant procedures.
• To ensure that all products are built in accordance with operating instructions and drawings.
• To inspect and rework electronic PCB to good practise.
• Ensure appropriate material control at all times and participate in stock takes.
• To assist in Maintenance tasks.
• Take part in continuous improvement, 5S and lean initiatives within the department.

Do you have?

• Experience of working on SMT machinery and/or production lines
• Excellent Communication and time management Skills
• Good attention to detail and organisation
• SAP, ASM (DEK), Fuji, BTU Reflow, AOI or similar SMT line experience
• Soldering, component recognition and inspection experience (IPC-A-610)
