Team Leader (Cloud and Applications)

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To define, design, create and maintain Pyronix software applications for Cloud and mobile devices (IOS and Android) for use by end users and installers.

This encompasses existing legacy and next generation designs. Provide team and technical leadership for the Cloud and Apps team

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for all new cloud and applications integration.
• Principal software engineer writing, maintaining and improving existing software and protocols.
• Responsible for the team defining and developing the next generation of Pyronix cloud and applications software.
• Production and review of task estimates to enable project managers to plan and execute projects.
• Overall system design responsibility for cloud and applications, including the integration of 3^rd party and other applications within the Hikvision Group.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED

• Experience of mobile applications development using native and/or hybrid tools
• AWS Cloud platform
• Binary and REST API design and development on mobile, server and desktop platforms
• IoT Infrastructure design, protocols, decurity and deployment
• Java, C++, Objective, Javascript, .NET
• Relational and noSQL databases
• TCP, UDP, Websockets, REST
• Strong problem solving skills
