Pyronix donates 20 Hewlett Packard Chromebooks to Clifton Community School

Pyronix, based in Hellaby, Rotherham, has donated 20 Hewlett Packard Chromebooks to Clifton Community School, Rotherham.

“We’re really pleased to be able to support Clifton Community School in this way and we hope that this donation will help these young people in their studies,” Laurence Kenny, Pyronix Marketing Director, said.

He continued: “Pyronix has been an active member of the Rotherham community for 35 years and it was important for us to be able to help at this time, given the widespread reports of a lack of equipment for remote, online learning during the COVID pandemic.

“We hope at this uncertain time that these computers can help Clifton Community School continue to teach and support their student’s learning, whether in the classroom or at home.”

Marie Smith, Deputy Headteacher of Clifton Community School, said: “On behalf of everyone at Clifton Community School, I would like to express our gratitude to Pyronix for the generous donation of 20 Chromebooks. These have, and will continue to help our students access online learning, particularly in the current situation.”
