Working safely during COVID-19

Here at Pyronix health and safety is our number 1 priority, which is why we have been working tirelessly since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic on creating a working environment that is as safe as possible.

This includes the addition of extensive safety measures in all of our Pyronix sites that are in line with government guidelines and our own health and safety assessments.

Extra safety measures

We have introduced temperature scanning cameras at entrances positioned, with procedures in place for staff over who record an initial reading over 38°C.

Various hand sanitation stations added across all sites in prominent places and signage to remind employees to use and how to use it correctly.

We have issued all Pyronix employees with company issued face masks that is mandatory to wear on our sites.

Social distancing

We have set up one way routes across all sites to ensure social distancing is maintained.

Including signage to reassure, guide and remind staff (one-way, no entry, hand sanitisation, social distancing, how to, etc.)

Occupancy indicator panels have also been added to corridors where the toilet facilities are in the factory, to ensure social distancing is maintained.

Safe working

We have installed visors and screens between workstations to maintain as safe a working environment.

Restrictions are in place on the number of staff that can use working environments including distribution bays and kitchen facilities at any time to ensure social distancing is maintained.

With our extra precautionary measures implemented; we are confident that we have a working environment that all colleagues can work safely in, that is COVID secure and gives them the opportunity to maintain a safe working environment with social distancing.
